The game was a night game, so we decided to have dinner early.
It was already dusk by the time we parked, and made the twenty minute trek to Husky Stadium.
The tailgate section was buzzing with activity less than an hour before kick-off.
But there was hardly any heckling, as Sun Devil fans were far and few between.
The stadium was teeming with high school cheerleaders and marching bands.
It rained.
No, it didn't rain.
It POURED down rain.
Nothing warms my heart more at a game than the fans singing the National Anthem from their hearts.
Every kick-off commences with the tradition of tipping the hat to the rhythm of the drums.
Then the cheering begins!
Ah, but alas, as much as we poured our hearts and voices out onto the field...
...our beloved Huskies fell short.
